TechnoData Interware, developed a hardware authentication solution for software, marketed under “MATRIX” brand, uses USB dongles (a device like USB pendrive) which needs to be inserted into one of the USB ports for the software to function. They say its quality protection. Woah!!! Sounds like the one I’ve tried to crack 6 years back ("Assembly still rocks!!!"). I think USB will be much tougher to crack. Since USB uses memory registers rather than direct communication with the port, blah blah blah...Sound like a fun thing to try, if any of the software protected by USB dongle comes to male’. hehe. A dongle for each software i have! That would be ....., like in the old days when people have to insert a floppy disk to run a program. Anyways I don't like it.
